Kenyan Lady Successfully cured after Bone Marrow Transplant by Dr. Dharma Choudhary

Lucy Njamb iMbatia is a resident of Kenya and she is 53 years old. She has three children one son and 2 daughters. Some time go, she started being very ill and the doctors in Kenya said that she had a bone marrow problem. The entire story of Lucy’s ailment and its treatment has been narrated by her younger sister. According to Lucy’s sister, they visited many doctors in Kenya and they could not even say what the problem exactly was. At the same time, none of them could also decide a cure for it.

Meanwhile the entire family was distressed by Lucy’s condition. Then one day a friend came to visit Lucy and told the family about BLK hospital and said that they should take her to India for the problem to be treated. She also knew about Dr. Dharma and was full of praise for him. According to Lucy’s sister the family sat together and discussed what should be done. It was decided that Lucy and her younger sister would travel to India for treatment in BLK hospital under the care of Dr. Dharma.

They both came to India through their agent whose name is Wahab. Dr. Dharma examined Lucy and got some tests done. He pronounced that her condition was treatable. However, Lucy’s sister would have to be the donor of the bone marrow and the bone marrow would be harvested from her. Chemotherapy was also prescribed and after the first chemotherapy session they went back to the hotel and waited for 2 weeks. In the meanwhile the bone marrow was harvested from Lucy’s sister. According to her the entire treatment including the harvesting of bone marrow was a very tough and painful process.

The donor had to be prepared by giving her injections in the abdomen and then the bone marrow was harvested from her. Finally after two more chemo sessions, the bone marrow transplant was done and slowly Lucy’s body began to create bone marrow on its own. Both Lucy and her sister are very thankful to Dr. Dharma and his team of three other doctors. Lucy had been admitted in many different wards, and the nurses and other staff were very good to them. Lucy is completely alright and ready to go back to her country.
