Ethiopian Patient undergone Successful Neck Surgery at BLK Hospital by Dr. Surendar Kumar Dabas

Neck operation is required when there is a bone spurs in the cervical region or if there is a ruptured disc. This condition results in serious complications that sometimes are invisible yet causes a major damage to the human body. Hence, it is best to get it checked and analyzed if there is any kind of discomfort or swelling in the area. The same happened with Mr Tigistu Ergosha from Ehiopia.

The patient Tigistu Ergosha is from Ethiopia and he had a swelling in the neck. A surgery would have to be done, but in Ethiopia there are no special doctors to perform a complicated surgery. Mr. Ergosha and his family decided to come to India for the operation. He came to India with his brother and Dr. Surender Dabas performed his operation. From the beginning Dr. Dabas had many meetings with the patient and his brother. He explained everything in detail to them and asked them not to worry.

It is certainly said that the complications during the neck surgery occur rarely but when it occurs it does cause to death. So, he was very worried and tensed but the doctor and the entire team at BLK Hospital gave him as assurance of health and a hope to life. He did go for the surgery performed with the expert hands of Dr Dabas. The surgery turned out to be successful.

The patient had to be in hospital for one week only and his brother expressed his thanks to Dr. Dabas and his team. He said that right from the time that they landed on the airport, the staff of BLK hospital had been taking great care of them. Dr. Dabas is a very good surgeon and the staff of the hospital including the nurses and ward boys were very empathetic from the beginning. Now that Mr. Ergosha is completely alright they are going back home.
